Hey "y'all"

Sorry this post is only being blogged at 9:58pm but I was really busy today with school work and as my dad always says "if you work hard...you play hard"  so now that I'm finally free of school work for the day, I figured I'd blog lol.  So I know today is Miss Manners Monday; but I just found a really inspirational saying that I wanted to share with you before I forget!  I'm not sure if it's a famous quote or stated by someone famous so I'll have to do my research lol.  I hope you find this somewhat relevent to today's topic lol and find it as inspirational as I do!  I hope y'all had a great start to your week!

Hey "y'all"

To continue Miss Monday Manners, I'm blogging about what I'm reading up on from Emily Post's 18th Edition Etiquette book!  I'm reflecting on Chapter 1 which I skipped over when I first started reading this book but I decided to go back to it lol.  The first chapter was probably the most important because it covers Guidelines for Living!  Some important tips I learned from this chapter that I wanted to share with you are listed below!  Enjoy and I hope y'all had a great start to your week!

Guidelines for Living

1. Respect others and respect yourself

2. Consideration - always keep in mind what you can do for others & how your actions will affect them

3. Honesty

4. Graciousness and kindness- make others feel comfortable in your world and it will reflect the warmth in your heart

5. Manners are not a set of rigid rules, they are for everyone, manners are STILL current, unpretentious

*As you can see this was a pretty quick chapter; but, still important.  Etiquette matters because it enables us to face the future with strength of character and integrity.  Most of my posts will come from what I read up on Emily Post's book.
